Our story is completely fictional but it is something that could have really happened.
It is the story of Anny, a sinful nun, and two other friends of hers who agree to be aggregated to the "Congregation of Penitents" as an alternative to transferring to the "secular arm" and the dungeons of the Inquisition.
For the redemption and expiation of their sins they will be humiliated, degraded, punished and tormented even publicly but within "mother Church".
The story begins with their indictment, up to their transfer to the infernal castle of the Penitents, the first punishments, the public amends, up to the first day of public torments for the purification of the sins of the world.
