Absolutely the BEST, sure to be a modern classic of its kind with the author at the peak of her powers. An extremely strong and imaginative tale of total mother and daughter submission whose impact is magnifies by having the entire process described seamlessly in a single volume. 5 out of 5 (Eljay)
Author reply: Many thanks for your kind words ejay - I like to think I hit the spot when it matters most. TRAINING LIBBY is next up!
After reading 44 of DRK's works, this is mediocre at best. Repetition and flashback is constantly disrupting the flow and intensity of the story, like to many commercials. The first quarter and last third seem to move along as the author stays with the main character's longer. Her earlier work before "The Body" had only one "classic" in my eyes. "The Experiment" had many fundamental elements of a story and maintained intensity and flow throughout, keeping the readers attention. 3 out of 5 (Noname)
Author reply: Hello 'noname' and many thanks for your feedback. The points you raise are fair comment. My thinking behind the flashbacks are so that the story is not linear. But I understand that this won't appeal to all. You've read 44 of my titles, so I must be doing something right! Please do keep reading, since I have returned to the longer format as opposed to two parters. My aim is to hit the sweet spot again.
The usual story of mother and daughter forced into depravity. My big gripe with this story is that it is told by a narrator in the third person. There is little personal connection to the protagonists, so it is hard to develop any sympathy for anyone. Better written than most but could still use a story editor. 4 out of 5 (Stark47)
